The PRC-Saltillo Literacy Planner includes 12 monthly lessons that are based on a specific children's book.
This planning guide has been designed to help you teach 5-6 targeted vocabulary words each month with students using an AAC device. You will learn how to model target words while reading the selected book-of-the-month, in addition to completing writing, arts/crafts, music, sensory, and motor activities.
There are Smart Charts to help you learn where the words are located in the device as well as websites related to the book selection for the month. Watch your students' communication skills grow!
