Do you have a dream? Have you always wanted go skydiving or snorkeling? All of us probably dream of doing some exciting things. I have some dreams. One dream is to publish a book. Another is to see the ocean and go surfing.

This was my year to see a dream actually come true. I was nominated to receive a dream from an awesome organization called the Dream Factory. One day a wonderful woman named Maureen came over and asked me about my dream. Then she planned an amazing vacation for my whole family. We went to Florida this May. It was amazing. We stayed in a fantastic place called Give Kids the World. The room that they gave us was huge! Everything was big. The bathroom was the largest bathroom I had ever seen! We got to go to Disney parks, Universal parks, SeaWorld and others. We ate amazing seafood and meals.

But the highlight by far was my dream coming true. We went to Cocoa Beach and the Ron Jon Surf Shop. I got a tour, some awesome gifts and met pro surfer Logan Hayes. He was a very cool guy. Then we went to the Ron Jon Surf School and met Craig Carroll, Frankie Tuzcu, world pro surfers Seth Kitzmiller, and Tom Gramlich. They all were so great. They did not look at my disability but pulled me right on a surf board into the incredible vast ocean. It was all so amazing. Frankie and Seth helped me ride wave after wave on the board. It’s hard to put into words the feeling of riding a wave over a powerful massive beautiful body of water. Tom Gramlich took pictures, videos, and encouraged me the whole time. Frankie and Seth told me how to put my hands and lay on the board.

And I did not ever want to stop. I love surfing and can hardly believe my dream came true. Thank you Maureen and the Dream Factory. Thank you Ron Jon Surf Shop, Craig Carroll, Ron Jon Surf School. Thanks to my new friends Logan, Frankie, Seth, and Tom. God bless you all for making my dream come true.

Now to my readers; it’s time for you to dream and follow those dreams. One day they can happen and it will be worth the wait.

This is Life with Kyle and I will talk to you next week.
