Introduction
In the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, it's easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of responsibilities, stress, and the never-ending pursuit of goals and dreams. Sometimes, we forget to take a step back and appreciate the things that truly matter. Gratitude is a powerful emotion, and it has the potential to transform our perspective on life. In this blog post, we will explore 3 things that I am thankful for. These are the things that bring meaning and joy to our lives, reminding us of the beauty that exists in the world.
Health and Well-being
Your health is your most valuable asset. The ability to wake up each day, feeling strong and capable, is something that I am immensely thankful for. Even though I am disabled and non verbal and have tons of doctors visits each year. All the visits are worth it to have a healthy life, and I am so thankful for all of my doctors
Family and Friends
The support and love of family and friends are invaluable. The friendships I have made through twitch have become invaluable. It made me open up and have an actual social life. Even though most of the friends I have are not local, I am so thankful for my friends. I also am thankful for my church family who has taken me under their wing ever since both of my parents have died from cancer.
Relationship with God
I am also thankful that I have a relationship with our heavenly father because without him, life would be a lot harder. He has gotten me through countless surgeries and countless hospital stays. He has also gotten me through two near death surgeries. When I almost lost my entire volume of blood during my first back surgery and when the doctors couldn't figure out that my shunt had failed but somehow I survived.
Conclusion
Life is a precious gift, and there are countless reasons to be thankful. Gratitude is a powerful force that can improve our mental and emotional well-being, enhance our relationships, and bring us closer to the essence of happiness. Take a moment every day to reflect on the things you are thankful for, and you'll discover that the more you appreciate, the richer your life becomes. So, count your blessings, celebrate the good in your life, and embrace each day with a heart full of gratitude.
