As a consultant, I LOVE receiving emails from families and clients using our devices. It’s so exciting to hear how our clients are doing. Getting the chance to hear how some are teasing their siblings, ordering their food at a restaurant, making cards for grandparents, starting a new job or taking the stage is one of the best perks of this job! I’d like to share one of the remarkable stories I recently received. Angel has a Vantage Lite and has already shared her fun story of using it to tell jokes for Halloween. This summer, I received an email from Angel’s grandma telling me about another adventure of Angel and her “purple talker”…

“I wanted to let you know about Angel’s latest conquest with her purple talker. Angel was a winner in the Seventh Grade Poetry Foundation Poetry contest for 2014. She presented her poem named “Angel” on stage at the Missouri History Museum April 16, 2014. She was so proud. She was also honored by the St. Louis School Board at a Board meeting in May. Her talker made it possible for her to take part in this wonderful opportunity.
