One day, I was talking with my friend that works at PRC. I didn't have any Christmas events to go to so I thought it would be a great idea if PRC could throw a Christmas party. I mentioned this to my speech pathologist and she said it was a great idea and that we could plan it together.
I felt happy because I never planned something like this before, and it was nice of her to let me be a part of it. We planned it very quickly and it all came together. I really wanted people who use AAC devices to come together and communicate with each other. This event really helped everyone to be able to do that."
