One thing I love to do is watch movies. My favorite movies are the Harry Potter movies, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Pinocchio. Let me tell you why.
I like Harry Potter because I like Ron Weasly and the magic world is so fun. When I was little, my mom and I used to read the books. She would let me watch the movie only as far as we had read. One day I cheated on her. I watched the whole movie and I was not supposed to, but I wasn't sure where we had stopped. I like the fifth movie the best because it's when Sirius Black, Harry's godfather, dies. He is killed by his cousin and it gets very emotional and it is before the other movie get dark and really serious.
The Nightmare Before Christmas is about Jack Skellington. He is basically the king of Halloween. He wants to take over Christmas because he wants something new. It goes really bad. Everybody tells him it will be bad. Jack is like, "oh please it's not, how could it be bad?" It goes really bad, but it is funny. My parents tried to make me watch it for a long time. Then, Mr. Green, my art teacher, told me about it and now I'm like, "it's the best ever."
Finally, I like the old Pinocchio cartoon. It is the puppet that wants to be a real boy. It is just fun and has good music.
Movies give you time to relax and you don't have to think about anything else. Sometimes there are good songs that you can
listen to anytime. I like to watch the same movies and skip to my favorite parts over and over and over again. If you get a chance, check out my favorite movies and post your favorites so maybe I can try them.
