As ambassadors and communication device users, we are asked about the ways we express our feelings. I have always communicated my thoughts and my feelings to my family and my caregivers, and to my friends by using my communication device. I remember one time I told my mom and my caregiver that I thought my Physical Therapist had broken my leg by accident. I was right. I have always told my mom or my caregivers when I feel sick. I always tell my friends about how I am feeling every day. I guess it comes natural to me because I always have spoken my mind about my feelings, and I have a communication device that helps me express myself.
When I first meet a person and I want to hold a conversation, I will introduce myself to them, then I would tell them how I best communicate. I would also ask them questions about their lives and let the conversation go from there.
