Lyle's interview about being funny

This is an interview with Lyle and his SLP to discuss the April theme of joking or telling funny stories. Enjoy!

SLP: What are ways do you make people laugh?
Lyle: sarcasm and teasing

SLP: When you are talking to people, do you think you are very serious?
Lyle: no

SLP: What do you do instead of being serious?
Lyle: I talk silly to people

SLP: By silly does that mean you make jokes or give sarcastic answers to people?
Lyle: both

SLP: What if someone doesn't know you well or know your humor?
Lyle: talk for a while get to know them

SLP: Do you feel that sometimes people don't understand your humor?
Lyle: maybe

SLP: What do you do if that happens?
Lyle: I get to know people and try again

SLP: If you think someone is funny, what do you do or say to them?
Lyle: I laugh.

SLP: Do you feel like you are drawn to people who try to make you laugh more or people who talk about things more seriously?
Lyle: funny people

SLP: Why do you like to be around the people who try to be funny?
Lyle: I like funny joke around with people

SLP: What about when you're around a bunch of more serious people?
Lyle: I try to joke talk to people

SLP: Do you feel that sometimes your jokes are hard to understand because of the tone of your voice/AAC system?
Lyle: yes

SLP: When the joke is misunderstood what do you do?
Lyle: I try talk joke again.
