Chapter XXI

This week, I will be back attending college full-time again.  Long before our lives had been impacted by COVID 19, my spinal cord injury had caused me do some rethinking.  And attending college was something I decided to put on hold last year.  But since I usually like to finish things that I start, not completing college bothered me.  That is why I decided to go back to college.  And with a lot of scampering around, I began taking a couple summer classes.

While attending college part-time has been a good way to spend the summer, I know that returning to full-time will make me extremely busy.  Before, when I was a full-time college student, I spent a lot of time doing my assignments.  I tried to continue doing all the things that I enjoyed such as writing my blogs, but I could barely keep my head above water.  It was very hard.

I can still remember when Gretchen suggested that I write a blog for PRC’s AAC Language Lab.  I was so shy about doing it that it took me almost a year before I submitted my first blog.  It was about my brother’s cat, Alfredo which was posted in February 2016.  That was over four years ago.  Since then, I have written and submitted over 100 articles to their bog.

Writing for PRC has been amazing.  I have been able to tell others about things that are important to me.  I have grown so much through writing my blogs.  It has helped me to see everyday things differently.  By sharing, I am able to see life lessons that can be learned.  This is where I discovered my life theory, where I believe that something good always comes out of something bad.

Although I have enjoyed writing and sharing with you, this will be my last blog.  Not because I have run out of things to say, it is that I know that writing blogs and school assignments don't mix well.  Therefore, I am closing one chapter and starting another.  My next chapter includes turning 21 years old, and completing my degree in computer information systems, AND then look for a job. I want to thank everyone that has made it possible for me to have my voice heard.

I have really enjoyed my time as a blogger.  This is Life with Kyle and I will never forget you.
